This cover has a strip of 5 seals and is stamped "received without contents." Presumably the flap was sealed at by a postal worker when it was received at the "East Pasadena Sta(ion)" as noted on the cancellation on the seals. This is Scott number OX39. The 1972 postmark indicates the item was mailed after the issuance of OX40 in 1969, but the small East Pasadena post office continued to use the older seals.
